“Kara provided such a safe space where I felt truly heard. I was able to process emotions that were deeply buried in a healthy way, and I left each session with a sense of clarity and calm that allowed me to stay true to my vision for a fair separation.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When should I commence a Conscious Relationship or Uncoupling Coaching Program?
You can commence these programs at any time in your life. I have successfully worked with individuals at all stages of the relationship journey, to achieve profound transformation to their existing and future relationships, including:
(a) individuals who are aware that their attachment style, childhood wounds and/or past relationship wounds are impacting their capacity to establish or maintain happy, healthy, secure and conscious relationships;
(b) single individuals who have had past relationship challenges they wish to address before moving into their next romantic partnership;
(c) partnered individuals and couples, who is experiencing relationship challenges;
(d) individuals and couples contemplating or transitioning through a breakup or separation;
(e) those who are separated/divorced and are in the process of navigating the path to new arrangements concerning property, finances or children;
(f) individuals navigating the Court as the result of separation/divorce; and
(g) those navigating co-parenting or parallel parenting arrangements.
If you are contemplating separation, it would be most beneficial to commence the program or at least some conscious separation coaching before you embark upon the separation journey as you will have been provided the tools and skills to allow you to move through this journey in a conscious way from the outset creating the potential a path of the least harm and trauma being imparted. That said, it is never too late to embark on this journey and Conscious Uncoupling Coaching can generate the field that allows for the transformation of a high-conflict separation into one that is amicable, kind, supportive, respective and co-operative!Does my spouse/former spouse need to engage in a Conscious Relationship or Uncoupling Program with me?
No, your spouse/former spouse does not need to engage in this process with you for the benefits to be gained. In fact, the coaching involved in Conscious Relationship and Uncoupling is primarily self-focused as such there is always potential for phenomenal benefits to be gained, this is even true if you have no or limited contact with your estranged spouse.
That said, those who embark this journey side-by-side and fully commit to the process have the capacity to generate joint intentions and vows for the future of their relationship whether that be as friends, co-parents or both and this can be a very healing and positive process for all involved. If you and your spouse wish to embark this journey together, please be aware that the bulk of this process will be undertaken individually.
The exception to this is that my group programs are open to couples to journey together within the group container, however this is something that I will need to be made aware of in advance as you will both be required to enter specific agreements to ensure the container remains beneficial and safe for you both.
Who is a suitable candidate for Conscious Relationship or Uncoupling Coaching?
My coaching services and program requires the capacity for deep introspection, radical self-responsibility and accountability. It also requires a strong commitment to fully engage the steps and program in order to see the intended benefits and results. Relationship breakdowns are incredibly difficult and for many, the grief and impact on their mental health is overbearing, especially in the early stage. For this reason, not all individuals will be positioned to benefit from the process at the time they first discover my offerings, especially those struggling with acute mental health or addiction issues that are not stabilised. For some individuals, engaging in counselling or other support programs first may be necessary before they are positioned to embark upon and benefit from this particular transformative journey.
That said, conscious relationship and separation coaching may still be an option even if an individual is not yet placed to engage in the formal Conscious Uncoupling Program. To explore your options, book your free 30-minute discovery call below.How long does your Conscious Relationship and Uncoupling Coaching Programs take and how much time am I required to invest?

What is the difference between a Coach and a Counsellor/Psychologist?
Coaches and counsellors/psychologists serve different roles, although there can be some overlap depending on the context and individual practices. Here are the primary differences between a coach and a counsellor:
(a) Purpose and Focus:
A coach primarily focuses on helping individuals or groups achieve specific goals, whether personal or professional. Coaches often work in areas like career development, leadership skills, performance improvement, and life transitions.
A counsellor focuses on addressing emotional, psychological, and mental health issues. They help individuals explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours to resolve personal or interpersonal problems, manage mental health conditions, and improve overall well-being.
(b) Training and Credentials:
Coaches may come from various backgrounds and may not always have formal training or certifications, although many do pursue specialized training programs and certifications in coaching methodologies. Coaching certifications can vary widely in terms of requirements and standards.
Counsellors typically have advanced degrees in psychology, counselling, social work, or related fields. They undergo extensive training in theories of human behaviour, psychotherapy techniques, ethical guidelines, and often require licensure to practice independently.
(c) Scope of Practice:
Coaches usually work within a specific scope of practice defined by their expertise and training. They focus on setting and achieving goals, providing accountability, offering guidance, and helping clients develop skills and strategies to overcome obstacles.
Counsellors address a broader range of issues related to mental health and emotional well-being. They assess, diagnose, and treat various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship problems, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
(d) Client Dynamics:
Coaches often work with clients who are generally functioning well but seek improvement in specific areas of their lives. Clients may include professionals, executives, athletes, entrepreneurs, and individuals undergoing career transitions.
Counsellors work with clients experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges. Clients may seek counselling for issues such as depression, stress, grief, trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, and family conflicts.
