**Quote expressed in modern terms

  1. When should I commence the Conscious Uncoupling Coaching Program?

    You can commence a conscious uncoupling coaching program at any time in your life. No matter where you are in your journey, the potential to transform your existing and future relationships is profound, including:

    (a) as an individual who is aware that their attachment style, childhood wounds and/or past relationship wounds are impacting your capacity to establish or maintain happy, healthy, secure and conscious relationships;

    (b) as a single person who has had past relationship challenges you wish to address before moving into your next romantic partnership;

    (c) as a partnered individual in a relationship, who is experiencing relationship challenges;

    (d) if you are contemplating or transitioning through a breakup or separation;

    (e) if you have already separated/divorced and are in the process of navigating the path to new arrangements concerning property, finances or children;

    (f) if you are a party to a court proceeding as the result of separation/divorce whether your role be as a party to the relationship, parent or grandparent; and/or

    (g) you are navigating co-parenting or parallel parenting arrangements.

    If you are contemplating separation, it would be most beneficial to commence the program or at least some conscious separation coaching before you embark upon the separation journey as you will have been provided the tools and skills to allow you to move through this journey in a conscious way from the outset creating the potential a path of the least harm and trauma being imparted. That said, it is never too late to embark on this journey and Conscious Uncoupling Coaching can generate the field that allows for the transformation of a high-conflict separation into one that is amicable, kind, supportive, respective and co-operative!

  2. Does my spouse/former spouse need to engage in a Conscious Uncoupling Program with me?

    No, your spouse/former spouse does not need to engage in this process with you for the benefits to be gained. In fact, the coaching involved in Conscious Uncoupling is primarily self-focused as such there is always potential for phenomenal benefits to be gained, this is even true if you have no or limited contact with your estranged spouse.

    That said, those who embark this journey side-by-side and fully commit to the process have the capacity to generate joint intentions and vows for the future of their relationship whether that be as friends, co-parents or both and this can be a very healing and positive process for all involved. If you and your spouse wish to embark this journey together, please be aware that the bulk of this process will be undertaken individually and with separate coaches.I have coach connections that I can recommend to your spouse to journey the process together.

    The exception to this is that my Cycle Breakers is open to couples to journey together within the group container, however this is something that I will need to be made aware of in advance as you will both be required to enter specific agreements to ensure the container remains beneficial and safe for you both.

  3. Who is a suitable candidate for Conscious Uncoupling Coaching?

    The formal Conscious Uncoupling Coaching program requires the capacity for deep introspection, radical self-responsibility and accountability. It also requires a strong commitment to fully engage the steps and program in order to see the intended benefits and results. Relationship breakdowns are incredibly difficult and for many, the grief and impact on their mental health is overbearing, especially in the early stage. For this reason, not all individuals will be positioned to benefit from the process at the time they first discover Conscious Uncoupling, especially those struggling with acute mental health or addiction issues that are not stabilised. For some individuals, engaging in counselling or other support programs first may be necessary before they are positioned to embark upon and benefit from this particular transformative journey.

    That said, conscious separation coaching may still be an option even if an individual is not yet placed to engage in the formal Conscious Uncoupling Program. To explore your options, book your free 30-minute discovery call below.

  4. How long does the Conscious Uncoupling Coaching Program take and how much time am I required to invest?

    There are various options for engaging the Conscious Uncoupling Program but you can expect to complete the program in no less than 10-12 weeks. The recommended time investment to reap the most benefit of this program is roughly 2 hours a week including a fortnightly 60-minute coaching session, reading the required book, and completing the action steps and meditations between sessions.

  5. How much contact will I have with Kara during my Coaching Program?

    Contact with Kara during your program will vary depending on the program you have purchased. At a minimum, you will have contact with Kara for the number of coaching sessions included in the program, plus email access to answer any queries or concerns between sessions during business hours.

  6. How do I pay?

    Pay-as-you-go coaching sessions can be booked and paid for online via credit card or PayPal. Pay in 4 is available for PayPal payments. Direct deposit is also available upon request made to karaockendon@soulhealing.au

    For Coaching Programs, an invoice will be issued upon completing the registration process following your Discovery Call. I accept direct deposits, credit cards and PayPal payments. Pay in 4 is available for PayPal. Please note that a 3% transaction fee applies for program payments made by credit card or PayPal.

    Please note that all pricing is stated in Australian dollars and international exchange rates may apply.

  7. Is Conscious Uncoupling just for women?

    No, Conscious Uncoupling is beneficial for all genders. However, two of my signature programs, Phoenix Rising and Divine Feminine, are women-only programs. My Conscious Uncoupling 4 month program is open to all genders and my upcoming group coaching offering will also be open to all genders.

  8. What is the Refund Policy for Coaching Sessions and Programs?

    Refunds and cancellations are made on a case-by-case basis within seven (7) days. No refunds or cancellations are provided for change of mind or more than seven (7) days post-commencing a program. For one-on-one programs, extensions of time may be provided to complete the program for up to 12 months post-commencement. Any queries should be directed to: karaockendon@soulhealing.au

  9. What is the difference between a Coach and a Counsellor/Psychologist?

    Coaches and counsellors/psychologists serve different roles, although there can be some overlap depending on the context and individual practices. Here are the primary differences between a coach and a counsellor:

    (a) Purpose and Focus:

    A coach primarily focuses on helping individuals or groups achieve specific goals, whether personal or professional. Coaches often work in areas like career development, leadership skills, performance improvement, and life transitions.

    A counsellor focuses on addressing emotional, psychological, and mental health issues. They help individuals explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours to resolve personal or interpersonal problems, manage mental health conditions, and improve overall well-being.

    (b) Training and Credentials:

    Coaches may come from various backgrounds and may not always have formal training or certifications, although many do pursue specialized training programs and certifications in coaching methodologies. Coaching certifications can vary widely in terms of requirements and standards.

    Counsellors typically have advanced degrees in psychology, counselling, social work, or related fields. They undergo extensive training in theories of human behaviour, psychotherapy techniques, ethical guidelines, and often require licensure to practice independently.

    (c) Scope of Practice:

    Coaches usually work within a specific scope of practice defined by their expertise and training. They focus on setting and achieving goals, providing accountability, offering guidance, and helping clients develop skills and strategies to overcome obstacles.

    Counsellors address a broader range of issues related to mental health and emotional well-being. They assess, diagnose, and treat various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship problems, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

    (d) Client Dynamics:

    Coaches often work with clients who are generally functioning well but seek improvement in specific areas of their lives. Clients may include professionals, executives, athletes, entrepreneurs, and individuals undergoing career transitions.

    Counsellors work with clients experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges. Clients may seek counselling for issues such as depression, stress, grief, trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, and family conflicts.
